People often ask me what I do within the field of communications and design.
It’s a question I get often — and the short answer is: I’m a systems thinker.
People often ask me what I do within the field of communications and design.
It’s a question I get often — and the short answer is: I’m a systems designer.
I apply biomimicry and biophilic design principles to systems thinking — integrating environmental, cultural, and social values into economic models and narrative infrastructures.
My methodology combines knowledge from natural and ancestral intelligence to structure projects, design scalable frameworks, develop partnerships, and shape both physical and digital environments. This integrated approach bridges domains that are often siloed: land & water stewardship, digital architecture, cultural strategy, smart cities, innovation strategy and governance.
Three Areas of Impact
At its foundation, my practice focuses on three core areas of impact: Connection, Regeneration, and Protection. It is an original framework and methodology which I’ve developed through my lived experience, research, and applied work across disciplines and geographies.
1. Design for Connectivity
I create systems and activate strategies that prioritize meaningful interaction between people, disciplines, and places — whether online or place-based.
2. Regenerate Through Holistic Frameworks
I structure initiatives that restore and repair land, relationships, and institutions by applying holistic frameworks aligned with ecological cycles, cultural vitality and social wellbeing.
3. Design for Prevention (and Protection)
I prevent harm and identify potential externalities through foresight and circular economy models— building safeguards, processes, and protocols that anticipate risk, promote social cohesion and preserve socio-ecological integrity.
